Lando Norris to tee off at Augusta after late-night Miami GP celebrations following first F1 win

It has been a whirlwind few days for Norris after his first F1 victory

Lando Norris was set to continue his celebrations at Augusta following his victory at Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver had long had a round scheduled at the home of the Masters in the wake of the first US race of the 2024 season.

That tee time was rapidly altered to enable him to stay a night in Miami and celebrate with his McLaren team-mate as as well as many on the star-studded guest list for one of the most popular races on the calendar.

The 24-year-old was arguably the star attraction at the Carbone Beach party alongside other sporting stars such as LeBron James, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

He was also photographed celebrating his first Formula One win at Miami nightclub E11EVEN with the likes of runaway championship leader Max Verstappen. The celebrations then continued back at his F1 team’s hotel.

He later posted on Instagram, “Recovery 1%, worth it,” a nod to his potentially hungover state the morning after.

Norris is no strange to partying after picking up a cut on his nose following a boat party in Amsterdam in the week prior to racing in Miami.

Prior to his Miami celebrations, he said he, “might have more than just a scratch on his nose”.
